Every year, dancer Malavika Sarukkai’ s Kalavaahini hosts a dance festival that has a signature of its own. The sixth edition of the Dance For Dance Festival is on Dec.19, 20 and 21 at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s main hall, Mylapore.

This edition is especially significant as it marks the 10th anniversary of Kalavaahini.

This year’s artist lineup features a range of performers who have made a mark: Sankhya Dance Company premieres Viyoga – Fragments of Light, a special commissioned work for the 10th anniversary.

Also performing at the fest are Aswathi K., Christopher Gurusamy, Shijith N Parvathy and group, Divya Hoskere, Sooraj Nambiar, and Sharmila Biswas and ensemble.
