Some concerts are drawing a full house at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in Mylapore.

Vocalist Sid Sriram’s vocal concert on Sunday evening (Dec.7) at the Bhavan was fully packed and rasikas who came a tad late were allowed to sit on the stage, around the artistes. Most rasikas remained inside till the end.

On Monday, Dec.8 evening, Vishaka Hari’s concert was also packed to the edges of the huge auditorium and had some 30 / 40 people on stage. Vishaka’s Harikatha was themed on Karpagambal, the deity of the Mylapore temple.

Abishekh Raghuram’s concert last week was housefull too.

The Bhavan features some top-line artistes at its December Season fest, the first of three parts which is on now at its main auditorium.

Also, all concerts are free. So many keen rasikas attend almost all the concerts here.
