Krishna Gana Sabha has invited Bharatanatyam dancer and teacher, Urmila Sathyanarayanan to be the new convenor of the annual Natya Kala Conference for 2026.

This was formally announced at the end of this year’s Conference at the sabha hall. Bangalore based dancers – Nirupama and Rajendra were the current convenors.

“Navonmesha: Quest for Creative Excellence” was the theme of the 2025 Conference, held from December 28 to 30.
