Mridangam vidwan Umayalpuram K. Sivaraman’s UKS E-school of music and an IT consulting firm jointly hosted a music festival at Srinivasa Sastri Hall, Luz.

From Nov.29 to Dec.8.

The top end of the fest had concerts by some 20 young artistes.

The highlight of the event has been a lec-dem in four parts titled – Splendour in the Dynamics of the Mridangam.

It featured Umayalpuram K. Sivaraman and scientist Dr. T. Ramaswami.  These two people have worked on the mridangam-focussed subject for many years.
