The Music Academy’s schedules for the daylong concerts and details on the academic sessions are posted online, at the Academy’s website – www.musicacademymadras.in

Concerts start on December 15, after the inauguration.

As is the practice here, the two, early and late-evening concerts are ticketed and the rest are free admission. 

The academic sessions are to be presided over by Sangita Kalanidhi-designate R. K. Shriramkumar, with V. Sriram, the convenor. This year’s sessions (almost all) are dedicated to celebrations connected to the 250 birth anniversary of Carnatic music composer Muttuswami Dikshitar. 

There are two sessions daily, starting just after 8 a.m. and are held in the hall adjacent to the main auditorium. Open to all, first come first serve basis. The sessions start on December 16 morning.
