This December Season, concerts have been held in lots of different venues outside sabha halls. Temples, cafes, community halls and open-air spaces.

The Margazhi Sangeetha Upasana has been going on at the Mylai Maha-periyava Temple on Pichupillai Street, Mylapore (located off East Mada Street) from December 17.

Young music students and established artistes take turns to present concerts here every morning, starting 7.15 a.m. This festival is hosted by the Maha Periyava Anusham Trust and Mani Mohanam Academy in association with Sangeetha Gnanamu of vocalist Palghat Ramprasad. On till January 13. Open to all.
