Tamil Nadu Tourism is hosting the annual Indian Dance Festival at the World Heritage site of Mamallapuram.

This is a month-long celebration of classical and folk dance and the concerts are set on a stage against the timeless backdrop of the Arjuna’s Penance sculpture of the Shore Temple complex, Mamallapuram.

Dancers from Chennai, Tamil Nadu and outside the state will perform in the evenings. Traditional folk art forms such as Mayilattam, Karagam, Kavadi, Thappattam and Oyilattam, as well as classical arts such as Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi and Kathak will be featured at the festival.

From 21st December 2025 to 19th January 2026.
