Mridangam vidwan Thiruvarur Bhaktavatsalam decorated with special award

Mridangam vidwan Thiruvarur Bhaktavatsalam was decorated with the Mudhra Award of Excellence at the launch of Mudhra’s annual music festival of the December Season at a venue in T. Nagar.

His mridangam colleague Mannargudi Easwaran and arts promoter Nalli Kuppuswami Chetty feliciated the vidwan, sharing anecdotes of their association with Bhakatavatsalam.

This is the 30th edition of Mudhra’s festival and its concerts are webcast live to reach a bigger audience.
